Vision International School, affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (C.I.S.C.E, New Delhi), is an English-medium, co-
educational institution established in 2008.
The vision of the school was conceived by Mr. Rajiv Singh, an engineer by profession and a well-educated individual with extensive experience in the social and educational sectors. Driven by the aspiration to create a progressive, future- ready school in Uttarpara, Hooghly, he collaborated with like-minded individuals to establish the Vision Educational Trust — a non-profit organization committed
to delivering quality education. The Trust comprises eminent educationists,
engineers, doctors, creative professionals, social leaders, and administrators.
Founded under the aegis of the Vision Educational Trust, the school building was
inaugurated on January 27, 2008, by Lt. Gen. K.S. Jamwal, GOC-in-C of the Eastern
Command. The institution commenced its first academic session that year with 175
students.
Over the years, the school has grown steadily, consistently delivering high standards
of education. It has earned a strong reputation as one of the leading schools in
the Hooghly/Howrah region, recognized for its excellent infrastructure, quality
teaching, and commitment to nurturing new-age skills that prepare students to be
future-ready.
